I can assure you it'll have candy coated graphics* aaand... that's pretty much all it is.


*Did the test 'spot the GT5 vs real life' – got 12/14 right on a shitty Macbook display.

Anticipated by TONS of people. in a few hours we'll see how much or little physics have improved.

The graphics look good, very very good. I got 14/15 on the GT5 vs RL test, took me quite a while to work out which of the second F430s was GT5. The problem is the effects give it away, actually the pictures with just shading and less shiny reflections and no silly motion blur are quite hard to tell from RL

well, the demo is out. I'm waiting to see what LFS'ers think of it.

that looks damn real i like it but only have a ps2 and psp no ps3 for me but one ? whats the gt5 that they have on the ps3s at gamestop with the drifting trials and stuff

Eh, it looks like they fixed some weaknesses with GT4(i.e. more than 6 cars now, cokpits are in now) and added more details. I do say that the extra details are very good. Best graphics I've ever see.

Unfortunatly it probably drives the same...like crap.

so rappa, how are the cars' performance? Are you sure you are running with all assists off and simulation mode steerng??

i never said i had it. I just said it probably didn't change much.

Say what you will about the unrealistic physics of the GT series, it's still great fun.

I don't have a PS3, and probably won't get one anytime in the near future (unless I win the lottery or something) but I'd still love to have a go with GT5. I bet it'd be a gas.

oooo ok GT:HD is fun the racing is fun drifting is better my gamestop has a cockpit with a g25 for the demo its the best drifting cant wait to play gt5p

Anyway, how many cars can now race at same time? I counted 14 on one screenshoot, but I`m not sure if that`s the right number.

GT HD is the Demo and GT5 is the follower of GT4

Watched it. Physics don't seem to have changed much. No power on oversteer. Weird handling on grass. Exaggerated diving under braking. Silly collisions. Nice graphics.

i bought my PS3 today, GREAT i love motorstorm and i love the demo DL thing
an awsome machine , got a 60Gb version wich aren't made anymore
