I also have the problem uploading hotlap.
Message is as follows "HOTLAP UPLOAD ERROR: hotlap upload not permitted.".
I'm a demo user, car in the hotlap file is XFG, and the track is Blackwood, so I don't see any reason to not be able to upload.
File size is around 200KB so the problem is not in the filesize, also my LFS is not cracked, and I am using the latest version of the game.

I know for a fact that on 05 June 2007 01:23 a hotlap with licensed content was attempted to be uploaded on your account.

That time I was only experimenting using licensed version to upload hotlap that is not part of demo version. I realized that it was not allowed so i stoped using it.
I don't use that version any more, (I am a regural demo user now), so can you please allow me to upload again.

Well seing as you have used the crack in the past (which is illegal btw) i doubt they will allow you to upload again...

hehe... almost every week on liveforspeed.ru somebody asking why he can't upload hotlaps... i'm kinda tired of this too....

one thing I have to ask though, can you realy upload hotlaps from a demo game? provided its a demo combo of course.

It's pretty stupid that people would try and upload licensed combo hotlaps on a demo account. Its like screaming "HEY LOOK AT ME I CRACKED THE GAME!" in the devs faces.

I wonder if it's possible to charge people who crack LFS, I've thaught about it and I don't see why you can't

Yes, demo users can upload hotlaps for demo content.

yes you can. The only proviso is that the name in the game must be the same as your username i.e your in game name must be DragonCommando.
