compared to lfs, the cars in gt4 just arent fun to drive at all if the physics were more realistic, the game would be more fun because then we'd be able to really experience the uniqueness of each car. Hopefully gt5 is better at this.

Ah well - spose that will mean we will get it after s3 final sometime.

The mods will probably merge this anyway. I'm just pointing it out. Then other, less disadvantaged children, will learn from your mistakes.

I didn`t want to start flaming, I just wanted to say that I get really upseth when people starts to say "less disadvantaged children" to others user. And specially when it was a little misstake and it`s allready fixed.

But I ain`t going to start flaming, just wanted to say it, and it`s soon christmas, so

Christmas is great, you can run round in the morning with sticks of dynamite candy and hold people to ransom; "Yer presents or yer life!"

The only Gran tourismo game I ever played was the HD demo on PS3, I was less than impressed. The car I chose was a Toyota Celica WRC.
With the best tires I could put on the thing, it still cornered like it was on ice. LFS seems like the physics are alot closer to real life, I've driven cars on dirt and it still wasn't as slipery as the Celica on dry pavement.

Does anyone know when GT5 demo comes out in the UK or Ireland?

not... u can still dl the GT HD thing from PS Store under games, games, and then all to the back
but the demo is only for PSN Japan (just create and account under Japan) and its only available till the 11th of november

The last Prologue certainly wasn't full price in the UK, I think it retailed at £24.99 when PS2 titles retailed at I think £39.99. Which still wasn't a good price as it was considerably less than half a game.

I agree, the sound of the tires is something I've never liked. Not only that, but the sound of the cars are not what I have liked for a long time in GT games.... they never sound like the real car. The Nissan Z does NOT sound like it does in this video. And just like pretty much every other car in their games....

Also, dont think i've ever paid more than £22 for a limited 'Tismo, infact im pretty sure i only paid £17.99 for Concept and that turned up a day early too. Ive found a shop which sells UK/EU region PS3 games as soon as they come into the store, which can be 10-14 days before release. I had Skate a week before UK launch the only downside is they're not as cheap as average stores would be (in general, not cos its early) + postage so they end up being about £5-10 more after postage. Worth every penny for GT5, Prologue... no

Anyone know if it has it been *confirmed* if there is anything different between download and BluRay versions? I've always prefered to own a phsyical copy, however not having to stick a disc in there to play it is a nice upside (unless BR version fully installs like a download title).
