i am making a skin for my fz5 and found this great bodykit for it but i cant figure out how to make the background of the body kit transparent
im using gimp 2

help me plz

first, I'd get a masters skinnerz template in 2048 format.
isn't there a tool labled magic eraser or something to erase the background?

The psd file is a transparent layer, with only the skirting and wheel arches on, you should put this layer above a painted or default skin to use it. No need to erase any background. Doesn't Gimp handle image layering?
