This may be the wrong section, but as any drifter will tell you, hybrid tires are the best for long smokey drifts. I think it would be a good idea to replace the hybrid tires with a D1 style tire and put it on lfs-database. having mud on a drift tire is kinda weird.

its not like your looking at the tyre while your drifting mate...

i know Bolger uses V8 Supercar Wet Slicks for drifting his Monaro.

Im pretty sure the people in D1 use slicks so...
1. it provides a nice smoke show, good for the crowd.
2. it lets them have some kind of control over the car.

I wouldn't imagine they use Slicks, as afaik they "drop off" in grip a lot quicker than road tyres, meaning it would be harder to get hold of the car if gets sideways - I would imagine that you'd want a lot of grip, though, simply because you probably wouldn't be dealing with 240 hp a la LFS, rather 500 or so, making spinning the tyres up much easier.
As far as i know D1 dosent use Slicks, the only people i know

I don't think it's pointless because obviously the hi-res treads and sidewalls are one of the most downloaded things on the database, so it would just be a little extra for the drifters or the "driftz0rz" for jakg. who is proving once again what a epic ass he can be.

The hybrid tyres are for rallyX, hence the mud on them. They might be popular with drifters BUT they are still for rallyX.
Drift in LFS is is a SIDE EFFECT of the good LFS physics. Why should we remove rallyX tyres and replace them with drift? Do you want rallyX removed from LFS as well?
He doesn't want that, he just wants a hires hybrid tyre treads without mud on them (where he's gonna use them is his business and I don't really care about it)
Again this drift-resistance thing.
He only asks for a custom texture for the hybrid tires. And all in all the hybrid tires should get muddy only if you drive in mud with them. Or do they come muddy from the factory or is the mud something extra you need to pay for?

He's asking if u have any tyre textures which he could replace, he didnt ask if they use slicks in D1 or if they freaking use bycicle tires.
On another note, ill try and make something based on advan or toyo.. (it would be easier if i had a good picture to look at)

Hybrid tyre Texture?
I would also like "mudless" tyres(jupp, I'm a drifter:razz.
I use normals/supers myself, but some of my mates use hybrids(on tarmac track, not even close to dirt)
So it bothers me that the tyres are dirty, when we drift on tarmac
Can someone make a Texture suitable for the hybrid tyres, without dirt, so MY screenshots won't be ruined by OTHER drifters witch use hybrids?

Can't you copy one of the other road tyre parts from the DDS onto the hybrid part?

I would like a Hig.Res. pattern, diferent from the Super's, And Normal tyres, So we can tel from the pattern, witch tyres it is. the ultimate, would a clean "stock" tyrepattern. but nice work dude
