I'm trying to unlock my copy of LFS S1, but it fails to connect to the server. What can I do? My copy LFS S2 unlocks without issues.

Since the release of S1, the Master Server has been relocated a couple of times.. There's no successful way of unlocking it that I know of, but search in the Unofficial Addons section for a thread someone made about patched S1.exes, which are supposedly unlockable, but I haven't had any success with them..

They needed to be repatched for the last master move, which left them out of date for quite some time, but the patches are currently looking in the right place last time I checked, so they should be working...

Because it's an old version and theres no reason to use them, other than for nostalgia - which the patched executables fix (unless the master no longer responds in a way that the older versions understands - I'll check next time I'm near my Windows box)

S1 is a content level (you pay for cars and tracks, not features in LFS), not a version, which many people do not understand.

Nope, it's all demos, and they're all before 0.3 anyways..

Gahh this sucks. I've been searching Google forever and found 1 link, but the download time was 2 hours so I ditched it..

first you might want to check what patch H version you can unlock
