Clutch Lesson
Maybe a lesson could be added in the Training area for people who arnt good with clutch. Im personally good with using it and getting the right balance, but im having trouble with the heal/toe technique to blip the throttle changing gears down..

Maybe there could be a tutorial for that as well which could help people get better at this. But i suppose this would only be smart when the stall feature is added, but could also be in LFS before it too..

What are your opinions?
I agree with the stalling but the lessons, i think it's easy to learn with a good pedal setup and a bit of technique, i'd likemost to ask exactlty the moment when ot's needed to do or the situation, because i mostly use it but donnow if i do it at the wright time
Quote from TAYLOR-MANIA :.....

After 2 and a half years of racing LFS, and 12 years of sim racing on the PC, with a wheel for 12 years I'll add, my opinion of forcing the training prior to going online won't solve anything still stands. Incidents are rarely the result of skills, but a result of the individual's mentality. The training doesn't stop the "get to the front" mentality.
What he said ^

But having the skill level of server force certain things has always been somthing LFS has needed imo.

newbie > all aids allowed mouse kyb etc reset allowed.any view
....(level of aids and device change as server skill level is changed)
Pro > wheel 3 pedals manual clutch hshift or paddle depending on vehicle. no reset. forced cockpit.

I think it would work just fine.

So to the original question. Id say yes if the option/possiblity of having a test to help introduce a manual clutch is part of training then i say its worth doing.

^^ Cool idea! =)

TAYLOR-MANIA, stay on track.. having a must-to-do the training sessions to go online has nothing to do with clutch lessons.. im talking more adding it in the training lessons for the road cars and the fox, fo8, gtr classes.. im sure theres no manual clutch for the bf1!
