Umderstanding LFS's FFB system:
I'm having a problem getting any/all of the cars in LFS to give me a clean range of FFB under race conditions. I have been testing and comparing between other 'games' that do make use of the centering spring option on the G25(don't know what other wheels support this option).

Firstly, my internal LFS settings are steer smooth zero(don't want nannying software messing with input hence inducing lag, even though the lag is tiny, I don't see the need for it).

Wheel turn Compression is also zero(this gives imo the most natural feel to the steering, if people complain about not having enough control over the centre or beginning of the left/right steering axis, why not just use a larger degree of steering rotation?).
LFS's FFB level is set to 18, call me a pansy if you like but, imo any larger setting will end up with you're wheel flipping out and exploding in a crash.

Taking advice from the LFS manual I truned off the Centre Spring option as it's not used in LFS, and this is where I(imo) feel we are missing out on FFB data to the driver.

Lego? yep, the Centre Spring(as it feels to me) takes out the notchyness by counteracting very slightly what the front wheels are doing under horizontal load(giving clean internal movement of the gearing system in the G25) , it feels like I'm driving over one million pieces of lego, bringing me to another question, is this what real racing 'feels' like, notchy?...

I'm worse than you; using FFB level set to 15 ingame (Momo Black)
In profiler everything is set to 100%, and in LFS I use 70-80%...BTW using MOMO Racing
