Today i was looking on the demo server list in-game, to have a look for my fusion servers. However one of the servers appears to have 32 slots? I though the demo was limited to something like 14-15 right?

Do you enter to that server and look is realy join 32 racers?

Just looked again and it says it as 17/32 conns.

i cheke the server too

but only 12 racer are running and the other ppl cant join to the race

Maybe is a bug for the server or something

The on-track limit is 12 but the connection limit is 16. It would seem someone has found a way to raise the connection limit, so you can have lots of spectators.

Definatly something that needs to be looked at. obviously an exploit with the new number of spectator slots being increased in S2 or something

thats for admin spots.

the demo user issue is another thing. master server error? hack?

it says on their welcome message....that they are going to try to get all tracks and cars on demo...this is something that REALLY needs to be looked at.

This was implimented by Scawen so that admins can still join their servers if it is full to administrate it without having to wait for a player slot to become availible.

I seemed to have missed that! This is definatly an issue... lets hope the devs can put a stop to it!

on the demo reply, euhm i also entered a demo with a friend yesterday and at the welcome screen they said: to be done in the future

Just thinking out loud here, but anyone can run a dedicated server, whether S2 or demo, it's the same file. I guess it's only a matter of time until someone discovers a way to merge the two modes together.

i doubt that because the master server wouldnt be able to track if its a demo or S2 server.... i think, i may be wrong.

I don't think its possilbe to have a demo server with all cars and tracks. there must be a wall or somethng inbetween. are S2 and demo master servers hosted on difffernet servers?

I think they're on the same master server, but that's irrelevant. The point is that this server shows up in the demo server list, so it's a demo server, but the problem is that it has S2 content.

Check the server , i have cheked and only have the 3 demo cars and nothing more

The thing is only show up is the 32 players online and nothing more
but only can race 12 racers

Incorrect. The server welcome.txt states.. as said before that they intend to get S2 content in the server, however i very much doubt that they will make it happen because of the master server. Unless they are trying to make a master server "workaround".

Isn't cars and tracks locked not only with dedi but also in players game? Even when they in some way enable all cars on demo servers shouldn't they still be locked in demo version of the client?

I see it very hard to work around the master server..so I guess this is one of those things we will have to see what happens...

I doubt anything much will happy tbh... i bet the devs are working on a fix now

I can't see how they want to achieve that, considering that the demo clients would still be locked to demo content. Now say, if all clients had to use a crack and it was theoretically possible to do all this, it would still be easy as cake to detect a server that offers more than it is licensed to and make it vanish from the master server list.
