Might be your firewall that pops in the background and asks for permission.

Try disabling the firewall or start the game in a windowed mode.

Does a fresh, re-downloaded copy of LFS do the same?
I have re-installed it about 3times now...
Starting it in windowed mode still has the same affect
I am totaly lost why it just started not to work 0.o
Are you running any software firewalls? What router are you using?

(BTW, your computer makes me very jealous )
hehe thx^^
I've tried disabling the firewall and it still crashes (windows and norton)

I use a netgear router atm, but not wireless.

Smells like a Norton problem to me.

The above sentence can be applied to most internet related problems.*
lol, yea it is true

Norton was giving me trouble a while ago so i said sod it and re-installed it....lfs works now.....bah
Still doesnt explain why lfs just suddenly stopped working....but it is norton

Well thanks for the helps guys

You should probably allow the LFS.exe and open the needed ports for the server browser and the game.

Norton sucks, so I can't tell you exactly how to do it. You'll probably be just as safe with the Windows Firewall.
Just install the updates given to you by Microsoft. I don't even have a single anti-virus software on my computer and I don't even have a single virus attack for years since the first day I connected my internet... Btw Norton lags in the background just uninstall it and install the usual Microsoft updates. It'll work don't worry.
Quote from hiroshima guy :I don't even have a single anti-virus software on my computer and I don't even have a single virus attack for years since the first day I connected my internet

And how would you know that?, without AV software, you don't know if you have one or not
Well it doesn't matter as long it's running smoothly, I don't care about any viruses...

BTW, in Asia we're under lots of firewall shielding so might be damn safe for us.
Depends if you use your PC for any banking or other payment services, you could quite easily get a quiet little trojan sitting there stealing your details........

Still, if you feel happier without, more power to ya fella

As for being safer because you are in Asia, they are probably just spying on what you look at LOL
Being firewalled does not mean a virus can't enter. It's there to block incoming connections (Which is kind of obsolete, because if you have a trojan on the machine, it's going to use OUTgoing connections, making the firewall useless. That's why you should use Comodo's Firewall Pro. Hate to advertise it, but after trying ~15 firewalls in 30 days, I came to the conclusion that they all suck except Comodo's. It's also free forever ).

Not having an antivirus is like being blind. Doesn't mean there can't be a terrorist in front of you just because you can't see him.
