For those who are interested, here are high resolution pics of the International Space Station with the new module Harmony node 2 brought and added by the STS-120 mission crew (click on the thumbnails):

Impressive piccies...
Does anybody now if it is in a geo-stationary orbit, or what? I would love to be able to try and pick it out one night with Emmys telescope
It's possible to see with the naked eye, quite easily actually, and the ISS is often mistaken for a UFO (although, technically it is a UFO to those people.. but let's not go into that). Most clear nights it is possible to see the ISS at least once, and it's usually visible for 2-5 minutes at a time.
Woohoo...06.39 on this Saturday morning!!
(/me starts cleaning lenses! )

Nice pics. I heard the ISS is now one of the brightest objects in the sky, because of the new solar panels. I'll have to give that tracker a try.

Liking the pictures
That was uncalled for.
Am I the only one who thought this was a topic about International Superstar Soccer? Thats what Pro Evolution Soccer (Winning Eleven) was called before it came to the Playstation.

Anyway, nice pictures, perhaps a better thread title would be advisable though.
