You can listen to music in LFS without using an external application, check the readme or the LFS Wiki. As for a radio in the car, race cars don't need them.
sorry dident put before , "road cars " i know race cars dont have em
Why would you listen to a radio on a track? It can only make you slower.
Just convert the music you want to .ogg format, put it in your (LFS main folder/Data/ogg, and then put it on the playlist inside LFS.
Search for ogg music converter on google and you`ll find it
Dunno, makes me more focused and therefore faster.

You can't make anyone slower. You can only be faster than someone else

I think listening to music is another game vs. sim thing. There are many who probably come to LFS (or other sims for that matter) from console games or playing FPS or NFS games that have always listened to music while playing. That's fine, but I do think that you need to concentrate to get the best out of LFS and you can't concentrate as well with music playing.
Just listen to some Beethoven symphony while you are racing with BF1 I bet you wouldn't be able to concentrate on driving.

On the contrary, I doubt you'd be able to hear the music over the engine and other noises.

In real life it wouldn't make any sense, but I do it regularly in LFS. Good music (has to have the right beat for driving) playing gently in the background often helps me get in the zone more easily. I've set many of my PBs with tunes playing.
