Here's something for you : learn to spend money wisely. You can't just buy something for a thousand pounds, and then sell it because you want something else. A thousand pounds mate, that's a LOT of money. I worked four weeks this summer to only get 60% of that.

If you just want your own kart to mess about in, then why not. If you want to compete, you'll need a bit more cash I'm afraid.

A competitive kart is competitive and the other one isnt quick enough to compete?

Yeah, that one will be too heavy, too flexible (or possibly too rigid), not be adjustable enough... I don't really know karts all that well, having never done it seriously.

FFS Harjun! First you decide you want a fast PC, so you go straight out and buy one with your dad's money. Now you decide you didn't want that anyway and now want a £1000 kart.
I think you need to learn the value of things and realise that most adults can't recklessly throw cash around like this, never mind a 13 year old kid. You shouldn't be surprised when you get negative comments from people, as at times you come across as a spoiled brat.
My advice, wait a week for the karting idea to pass you by and move onto your next expensive fad. Don't worry, daddy will pay for it.

Im not flaming you harjun, but i suggest listening to what the people above here have said. Just think about it for a week or two and decide whether this is the right thing to do. Selling your PC is'nt the right thing to do btw. Eventually, you will miss it and would want it back. Plus, you wont get any of that money back, and you DEFINETELY wont be able to sell your laptop for over £700, with that kind of money, i could go out and buy a very nice fast PC with a monitor, speakers, and all that stuff.
Your tight bugget does'nt help either. £500 is a fair bit of money yes, but you will struggle to find a decent kart which will give you a hope in keeping up with the pack. Dont forget, you will have to replace tyres, will need fuel, spares, extra cash for any damage and all that, so really you need quite a higher bugget. So yes, either wait a week or two and think about it or save up the cash to get a better bugget and maybe sell thing you done use anymore (games for example). But for the love of god, DONT sell your pc. It will be a very silly thing to do after the money your father has put into it, and you will never get that cash back when it comes back to selling it.

look, im not spoilt ok? the expensive things in my life...Petrol RC car, PC, Laptop, £300 bike....and other extras like going to private school and stuff....

ITS NOT A ROTAX ENGINE! they are a couple of Honda engines.
As I said go to a Rye House club meeting on the date I have suggested otherwise you are going to buy something completely useless!
I have come across countless people who didn't put the research in and have come to regret it.
I can't stress enough. eBay is not an intellectual source of karting information!

lol you'll get more people you will be rubbish if you boast how many wins you've had at corporate karting. Don't worry about being rubbish.... everyone is when they start proper karting.

Rotax might not be the class for youanway . Something like JR TKM might be better. What you need to do is go to a Rye House club race at the beginning of next month, watch, and speak to racers.....
I very much doubt that seeing as your selling your unnecessarily expensive computer that you didn't pay for to buy another expensive toy that you aren't going to pay for. I don't really think your serious about this given how badly you said you wanted a computer. My advice to you would be to try and get a test session somewhere in a proper kart to see if you like it.
If you do then if your lucky enough to have someone to pay the bills for running a reasonably maintained kart, being realistic no 13 year old is going to be able to pay for his own karting, then maybe go for it but realise that it's a massive commitment not something to give up straight away.
