Aye i was in a occurd place during qualify. I hope i didnt ruined it for you Marco. I saw a car passing but couldnt see who it was. But thats is for me blocking anybody as far as I can remember.
Anyway good race and i had expected a lot more carnage then there excalty was. People did rather good last night.
While i agree there isnt much time to put in a lap, your asking a lot from other people who have a right to put in their laps, and seemingly willing to do little about the situation to help yourself.
Find your own space to put laps in, dont just keep putting in mediocre laps in if others are slowing you down, find the next space on the track and move to one side then vacate the empty areas. You cant complain if you keep gaining on someone and they dont move well out of the way. If someone screws up their lap, and know it cant improve their current time, then they should make an effort not to slow others down seeing as that lap is ruined, however if they're on a valid flying lap then they have every right to be there. You control where you are on the track, and if it means sacrifising a lap you can tell by the split time isnt going to be decent, then just lift off a little and give yourself more room to drive into before you hit traffic again. Help yourself, its your qualifying session, make the most of it, its what i do and what most of the faster drivers are going to be doing.
I tried the "hold back" approach, and it worked quite well - shame i ended up clipping T1 and rolling and loosing my 1337 space.
I always seem to get "on it" and set times +/- 0.05 seconds of the best time i set, and then end up thrashing it in the race.
I didn't do enough practice at all, as i "tweaked" my setup and made it more grippy at the rear, but this killd the oversteer and made the car understeer like a pig. If only i'd done the first 200 laps knowing this...!
