noob looking for controller tips
hey all i know most of you recommend the wheel/pedals but are the handheld controllers like a ps2 controller any better then using the mouse?

right now im using the mouse for steering and keys for gas/brake etc..

i play on a laptop and the wheel is out of the question for me.. dont wanna spend the cash and it wouldnt work cause half the time im playing im lieing down HA..

anyhow my question is.. am i better off getting a controller (recommendations please) or keep practicing with my mouse and keyboard?

thanks

Get a wheel if you can afford it! It will improve your lap times, racing line, passing and defending as well as being a whole load more fun!
I've happily used a PS3 controller for some time now, works really well with LFS, only problem is button clutch...

I presume a PS2 pad would work fine aswell, surely you have one lying around, everyone does lol. But then you'd need an adaptor for USB, so PS3 pad is best if you have one.

Obviously, a wheel is going to be the best you can use. I myself am getting a G25 over the weekend, so I'm thrilled! But any wheel or controller is better than mouse/keyboard.
