G25 Shifter H-Pattern broken?
Hello everybody,

My H-Pattern of the Logitech G25 doesn't work anymore.
The 1, 3 and 5 gear are all gear 5. (Sometimes the 1 and 3 does work) The 2, 4 and 6 are ALWAYS the 6th gear.

Is not nice, because I really like this H-pattern.
"to change from h-pattern to sequential you push down the shifter and turn the big silver knob. the knob normaly makes a sound like "klack - klack", however mine does sound like KRRAcks - sccriectch - krrCKS now is very hard to turn, and the gear lever seems to be stuck when in sequential. so it does not jump back to the middle position and is hard to move."(molocco) Exactly the same, here. (Nice said, btw)

Does anybody know how to solve this problem? I've got my G25 for about a half year.
I still have waranty but they are doing difficult at the helpdesk. I mean, they can't find my order (although I did bought it there, for less money because I knew somebody who worked there)

Thanks for reading, please post an answer
Have you tried going into LFS Options and resetting the different gears correctly by putting the shifter in neutral, clicking on gear 1 then put the shifter in the gear 1 slot (without pushing any other buttons). This is my guess... Has it worked in the past with LFS?
Try putting it into sequential, pushing FIRMLY down on the gearknob, make sure its exactly in the middle, and try turning the silver knob again. Sounds like the plate inside that controls gear movement is catching?

@blackbird04217 The problem is in the Logitech steer. I already tryed what u said, but the Profiler says it's still in another gear.

@Rtsbasic It didn't work, what u said.. Yes, I think such a thing is the problem.

Both thanks for your reply!

Problem solved!
Hey people I fixed my G25 shifter!
I opened it (what was pretty much work) and took a look in it. Suddenly I saw it: a very small kable was unplugged!! I made it, and now it's working normal!!
So it had nothing to do with the noise of the silver knob
Quote from Kanuz :the knob normaly makes a sound like "klack - klack", however mine does sound like KRRAcks - sccriectch - krrCKS now is very hard to turn

LMFAO, this should be in my sig
