6hr of South City: Results & Points
Here are the much-delayed results of and points after Round 2 at South City Long.

(Position gain/loss is in terms of where the car qualified in class, not in terms of the overall finishing order.)

EDIT: Results & points have been edited to reflect a 6-lap penalty given to the #14 team for exceeding the 45% rule.

We expect to have the results and updated points following Round 3 at Westhill soon. Hope this will do a bit to tide everyone over.
Cool, thanks Bones! Good to see where everyone officially finished at the City.
Thanx
Thanks

We're currently processing a violation of the rules which occured during South City. The OP will be updated with the correct results shortly.
OP updated to reflect the changes made.
ouch.

Also, just a heads-up, the MoE website always gives a 45% distance as a predicted number of laps to help clarify when you've gone over the limit in cases such as this, however this is on the basis that your driving a GT1 car, if a GT2 car was allowed to go as many laps it would probably be completing 50-55% distance such is the difference. Shouldnt this be clarified equally, just to prevent potential abuse.

We've already made plans to include a GT2 estimated 45% rule as well for next MoE event. Thanks for pointing out though.
And we have already kept it in mind while checking the Westhill results. 45% estimate will be given from now on for GT2 as well.
It would be nice to see +1 point to all races in that table for #21 with FXR in GT1... the bonus thing...

Quote :A GT1 FXR receives a bonus of 10% (rounded up).

I wondered about that the other day, but wasnt sure on their use of the term 'rounded up'
My understanding would be:
+10% would only benefit on 5+ points, no lower as...
5 + 10% (0.5) = 5.5, means rounded up to 6
4 + 10% (0.4) = 4.4, means rounded down to 4

So you should receive 6pts from Rnd2 & 10pts from Rnd3, but Rnd1 would still be 3pts as after the 10% it rounds down to 3, so +1 point to 1 of the above races, not both if that was what you were implying... unless the terminology is being used to give a whole new meaning at least.
No, it is always rounded up. Meaning 1.1 points -> 2 points. We will update the charts.
