indeed that is seriously cheap, im 18, no job at the moment and im a student. i play with guys on other games who pay mega £££ for there servers. im talking £300+ for a few dedicated servers.

I'd take a 23 slot server, no web space or anything, how much would that cost?

And is there really no option other than paypal? I've heard more grief than good comments about it, from both public forums and personal friends.
I'm pretty sure I'll take a server sooner than later, I agree it's really cheap, 1/2 price 1st month or not.

My experience with servers is varied, once I was paying £23 for 1 20 man server with no control pannel or anything else, I am 23 and not in a steady job. 500 Servers prices are cheap.

The Control Pannel is excellent, and you all know Franky is always around for support etc..

Thanks for the replies. Clownpaint. The "without webspace" option is something i was expecting to pop up. I have been basing the prices on what i have seen elsewhere. the cheapest europe server i found and hosted with for a while i found was approximatly £17 GBP so i decided to try and match that.

Webspace is something i simply have available to offer. I appreciate all your concerns and i do think that reducing the price without webspace is a good option and that an option without webspace might be a good idea.

I have got a few ideas in mind for that and the comments here have swayed me.

Breizh: for the time being it is paypal only i am afraid. this is simply because i find it fairly secure and its the easiest way to do things.. If there is an alternative for paypal but with the same sort of service i would be happy to look into it. Has anybody used NOCHEX ?
I am hoping to get a propper billing system online in the next month or so which i hope will work for other services.

It is something i am almost certainly going to do. Its possible that i will be making some adjustments to the services in the next 24 hours when i do so. i will reply here and let you know about it. I have also now added you to MSN.

For some reasons servers located in .NL are best as a common playground. (a tip for you who lives there)
Best pings for everyone. (I'd know that after all my years with Counter-strike and Battlefield).

Swedes as it seems have rather bad pings against UK servers. Also swedes are lucky enough to have very good broadband and every other person can throw up their own server anytime at home.

So. For swedes 8 GPB is simply outrageous. But luckily. There is other countries than sweden. Good luck tho. I love to see new companys lead by young people. Old people always screw things up or is slow.

Edit! Maybe you should provied a couple of IPs your-maybe-to-be customers can ping and trace some routes to.

Be especially diligent if you're liable for VAT. The VAT dudes are extremely hardcore.

Ive done a few checks and due to the fact that the income is less than £60,000 per year i am not liable for VAT.

Taxes are already included by Paypal (the IR also owe me £700 aswell!!!)

Yes i have. Standard barebones server would be £15.50 , Unfortunatly still no alternative to paypal at this time.
