Xbox 360 Controller Issues [Sound]
I'm trying to get a friend into LFS, and he doesn't have a wheel so he's trying out his 360 controller. He's downloaded and installed the drivers, all is well in control panel and all the buttons are recodnized in LFS. It works fine, but when it's plugged in LFS emits absolutely no sound.
When it's not plugged in, all is well.

Any ideas?
The output gets transported to the 360 headset instead, go into the playback panel, and fix it.
hmm i never had that problem
I've had it, I know about it, a lazy fix is to start LFS first, because then LFS is already gonna take the other device.

Was just on my way back to say once the headset was plugged in, there was sound (in the headset).

So in the playback (control panel - sound?) panel you can change this? I'll let him know. We'll probably be using Ventrillo for our LAN races anyways, though, but it would be nice to use the speakers.

forget about it, gamepads are absolute shite with LFS these days
I sometimes get the same problem if i forget to plug in my controller, when i plug it in whilst the game is running, i get a message up the top saying 'No Sound', all you have to do is press Shift + N, and the sound should be re-enabled, hope that helps
