Sam will have to do you proud then Jack
Typical, time out first race while in second, get wrecked second race after T1. Not my day.
.... my one nither.... i got injured while playing soccer and my feet are hurting like hell the race wasn't any kind of relaxing for my feet today... but I'm happy with my 10th and 11th finishing position

oh well, but if you still search the one who is reasonable for Race2 T1 Crash... here he stands infront of you... waiting for your fists arriving in my face
Falke, can't you just wait and see what the admins make of it before you take a gun to your head ? There's no point in resorting to masochism at this early stage and nobody will come looking for you in the dead of night to exact their revenge either so sleep easy

Now, tomorrow night could be a different story .... Only joking
Richy's round report
Eventful round for me this one!

In practice here I found I was doing some pretty hot lap times, the best I managed was a 1:57:17 I did try for a 56 but I started to crash too much because that ufr starts to lift the inner rear wheel in some of those corners and sometimes roll over.

Bit of a rush around in real life today, as i sold my van, but just made it in time to qualify, but I didnt get much chance of a warm up so was off my pace at the start of qualifying, did a low 58 on my 2nd lap and 3rd I was flying but a yellow flag was out and I didnt see the car who I sadly connected with and rolled over so that lap was gone but I had somehow qualified in seventh place.

Race 1 got started and the battle commenced. I was immediately tight close to #33 M.Hoekstra straight away and would see him a lot during this race along with a fellow Halfords racing team mate #27 U.Mikk.

I clipped an apex and got it up on two wheels, but somehow managed to save it but lost two places, it was all looking a bit pear shaped but I didnt give up, latched onto a slipstream and caught back up and made a move in the chicane on lap 5 which was optimistic but worked out beautifully.

Sadly that great move was wasted when I made a slight error in the final hairpin, lost about 5 mph and conceded the place right back, doh. So I chipped away at #33 M.Hoekstra and stayed with him and on the final hairpin I hit a nice line and got a good exit, he tried to avoid my drafting and get me to lose my speed but I stuck to my line and edged over the line into Lucky 7th place by just 3 hundreths of a second!

I didnt even realise until people said it to me but I had just scored the pole position for race 2, really gave me hope of doing well in a race, even if I dropped to 4th it would have been my best result so far this league. Of course many faster guys werent here but let's ignore this for now.

So race 2 started with little me sitting out in pole shitting my pants, I started off a bit slow at first, unsteady and off pace until the tyres heated up but my rear window was full of a lot of this for the first lap or two.

At one point I was slow in a corner but in the way of #10 M.Pesonen and he gave me a little bump which actually gave me a bit of distance hehe. I settled a bit got a little bit quicker and got myself a bit of a lead, but most of all, a clear track in front of me.

At this point second and third were fighting for position so I knew I was safe, a little coming together behind me in the hairpin gave me the room I hoped for.

Some serious concentration was then needed to go the rest of the distance. I hit a barrier on one lap which didnt damage me badly but lost some time but I had plenty to work with. I wasnt putting in the fastest laps which was worrying, I could feel #5 J.Parker gaining on me but i'm not sure if he was or not, he certainly was breaking away from the main pack of cars a bit. I wouldnt have any of it! I got my head down started going faster and on the final lap did a high 57 which scored the fastest lap of the race and my first baby-r win. More like 5 minutes of fame teehee, thank you lucky 7s.

Race 3 I was simply grinning too much to drive, and rolled the car off a curb in the final hairpin, in an awkward position.

My first DNF of the season so no more 100% finish ratio doh, even so I was still really happy about the win, it means a lot to me.

Thanks every body for such clean, fast paced action, babyrs really shine at this track eh?

Richy

Nice Report and good job for getting a win. I think the whole grid was after a win for a HR guy, as at the complex on lap 2 i think most people did a good job and getting in eachs others way and slowing each other down

Sam,

Glad you enjoyed yourself, pity you did not manage to bring it home yet, but I seem to remember you having problems with SO tracks in other leagues i've seen you racing in

Aston Club Reverse will not be the same next week, fast wide open spaces, I have the feeling that it will be the 'monza' slipstreaming event of the year
hehehe nice Richy well done, it was time HR did get a win. Nice report m8. I cant wright it down any better for surely.

I had a good race. Although I roled during race 1 and had too hold off James on last lapes big time to get some points. But I rolled it again, once the car is crashed once there is now way you can get a decent lape or cornering anymore. Great racing last lapes with James

Race 2 was indeed complex after some grid problems I started at 21th place due to mine rolling in race 1 . There was a little pile up on the round about and it was tapped but I came through. I ended that race as 8. Was really pleased with that one.

Race 3 started at 8th spot. Just behind Richy. I was staying there and trying to get move up some places. But again hit the wall and spun out. Lost a few spots and had a great 2 last lapes with a fusion guy I remember. We came across the finish with 0.10 of a second.

I enjoyed every minute off this round. I am looking forward to Aston. Slip stream track for sure Dru.
Well done Richy mate and a great write up

I think I will turn all the lights off and close the curtains next week as family keep visiting unnanounced Don't you just hate it when that happens.
