I've searched for previous posts and didnt find much luck, My question is am I able to use the DS lite with LFS? Meaning can I use it to display the speed, gear, RPM and boost? I got some sources from a following post but I didnt hear much about this being done with LFS. If this can in fact be done can you please provide me with sources and possibly steer me in the right direction, also would I need to do anything to LFS files to get it to work?
Since the DS operating system is completely self-contained I'd assume it would need a hack to do it.

I'm also not sure it'd be worth the bother since even if it was possible, the DS screen is so small it's unlikely you could make anything useful fit at 'glance' speed.

Well can this be done using any other hand held? Or is it going to be pointless because of the screens?
Not with the software you get by default. I know the PSP has an OS that can be easily hacked or modded, but I've never used one to know what it can do.

In theory it's possible, especially on the PSP. But using the hacked OS will probably invalidate your guarantee or something, and if you get caught you risk never being able to join online games again.

Don't quote me here (since I've never used multiple monitors), but you might be better off looking at something like a 7" portable monitor, setting LFS up to use both your regular monitor and the little one, then just moving all the stuff you want onto the little one. The little monitor would probably end up cheaper than a DS or PSP as well
I have personally seen a DS running a version of windoze...not sure WHICH version, but was deffo windoze....(more than likely one of the Windoze Mobile range..)
This particular DS had a RD4 cartridge with a 2Gb MicroSD card attached.
As Emmy is pestering me to get one for _her_ DS, I'll see what I can find out

Then again, just get an Asus EEE PC for £220...that will run it
probbaly winds its not proper windows though it cant do exes or any kinda file

Let us theorise for a minute:

1: A Nintendo DS has a better CPU and better storage capacity, along with more RAM than my mobile phone...Right?
2: My Mobile phone runs Windows Mobile, and it CAN open *.exe's and other kinds of file (like MP3's. AVI's, JAR's etc)

Summarise:
Why the hell SHOULDN'T a DS run Windoze?

In order to submit a valid argument, could you please ensure that your spelling and grammar is 'almost' correct?
I mean't it doesn't have Windows yet but it does have WinDS

See what a difference punctuation and correct grammar makes? Your post makes sense now

Still theorising, I would imagine that the DS _would_ be capable of running a Linux based OS, and therefore could possibly run Wine...which would then allow more applications to run, albeit VERY slowly...if at all.
However, looking at the capabilities of an Asus EEE PC, that could easily run a DS emulator, and has a tasty little 7" screen as well.
Try DSLinux
Sorry for this massive bump but, you could use a DS flash cart such as an R4 card. I found this thread when I was about to request the same thing .
Could anyone help me please? It IS possible but I can't code OutGauge . R4 cards rock!
Sorry about the quadruple post, but please could someone answer .
