Round 2 complaints thread
I have a complaint. Lap 3 of qualifying. N.Djakavic incessantly used his horn from T1 and for much of the rest of that lap. First behind myself, and then behind J.Cooper.

In getting past myself and J.Cooper, he used very forceful driving, pushing both cars aside rather than waiting for an opportune moment to pass.

Although there is no rule against using the horn, I do not consider it appropriate conduct in a league such as this.

As for the way he overtook both myself and J.Cooper, in normal circumstances I would not have raised a complaint. However in view of N.Djakavic's state of mind (he was obviously of the opinion that other drivers should get out of his way, even though they were themselves trying to achieve a good qualifying time), I find these actions completely against the good nature that has previously been the norm for this league.
I concurr to this, I am afraid, I got the impression Niki wasn't in the right attitude for Racing, to overtake and make contact with other cars in qualifying is unacceptable in its own right. He wasn't on any kind of 'blistering' pace either, he was as quick as me and Bozo, so he obviously thought he would leave us for dead pretty quickly after the pass, but just going 100% balls up the inside with your wheels locked isn't doing well for your tyres, which was the case here, I am afraid to say.
I closed over 5 sec on you two in 2 laps and when i cought you, you didn't move so i had to overtake you, dunno passes were not against rules imo, and horn is not in rules too, since i couldn't pit and there were so many ppl behind us and no one in front of you two i had to pass... then when i finally had chance to do fast lap, boom DC

sorry guys i just had a bad day, everything went wrong for me in that quali/race
You can't expect to pass, when the OTHERS are on a fast lap too, say if i got really loose and it was no possible for me to set the best time that was possible to me in Quali, then i would of moved over, and in THAT situation, i would of expected it.

You should of thought about overtaking more safely, rather than overtaking like you did, and losing MORE time.
I have a complaint about F.Funke.
On lap 19, at THIS corner (Sorry, i can't think what turn number that is).
F.Funke put a bit of a poor move on the inside me, which resulted in me slamming into the wall and damaging my car. As a result i lost position to F.Funke during the remaining laps as the damage was stopping me cornering at any pace.
I wouldn't normally bother about stuff like this but as i lost points because of it i decided to this time.
In fairness, after the race F.Funke appologised.
Ok, I will look into these.

I am holding fire on the results and the standings untill I have any infringements tied up.
Okay, guilty. I have to admit that my attempt to pass you was a little overenthusiastic, and i'm sorry for that.

Just for the record: this is what i dont see, seems to me like you make it sound like it was THIS particular incident that totally screwed up your car. Looking at the replay shows that your suspension was down already before the crash, even with that bouncy front right as a result of a heavy impact on t1 a lap before. The crash itsself caused very little damage, relatively slim to none if you consider the already existing damage.

Do you really think you lost that place because of this incident? What about the other numerous times you slammed into the barriers at much higher speed without anyone else involved? Would you have still made this complaint if the incident was on lap1 and you'd smashed it yourself later with the same overall outcome?
this isent a complaint , im just apolagizing because i cant remember who it was but they came out of the pits and i was doing around 180 kph trough the first corner and i went in to the pit lines and colided with him, totaly my fault , dident cause us to crash but lost a bit of time

Well, yes. I wasn't having trouble cornering before the crash, and i was having trouble afterwards. I don't deny that i made serveral impacts with the barrier before our collision, but the car was still as drivable as at the start, no mechanical damage apparent what-so-ever.
If you look HERE, you'll see that lap 19 and the remaining laps afterwards are abnormally slow for me in comparison to the rest of my race. Also, you took nearly the whole race to catch up with me before the crash, then after the crash you came off worse time wise, but you regained that big gap and passed me in a matter of a couple of laps.

So, yes, i believe the damage you did to my car lost me points yesterday.

You know what? i reckon i'm being far to petty.
Complaint withdrawn

I hope i haven't wasted any of your time Dan
If thats what you want Gfresh
One question - I didn't get penalty? I did pit-stop during qualification.

Yeah, it's only 1 point, and it's a bloody game
@Ghost, I have yet to have the time to sort out penalties

I don't think you got a penalty, but Dan has made it clear, anyone that pits in Q will be put to the back of the grid. I don't understand why so many people are confused, it isn't THAT hard to figure out :/ I don't think it would of been fair to put you to the back of the grid anyway, you would of just had your race ruined as the driving ettiquiette towards the back of the grid gets worse than at the front.
I think the confusion come with Shift+P being one of those things that is punished rather than pit stops.

It should be re-written as it can be easily mis-interpreted.
Ye, to suggest the new-written rule I think : No repairing of your car or returning to the track after you have left the qualifying session. Whether it be pitting to make setup changes, or going to spectate, rejoining the session and/or repairing your car, is not allowed, regarless of the situation. That's it, once you are out, no second goes.
I was thinking more in the line of,

When you have left the pits in qualifying you are not allowed to Spectate, shift+P or make a pit stop. Any infringement of this rule will result in you starting from the back.

Well you have less forum posts, so I think this says too much against me.
