Up till the last round, it was an ugly ugly fight. Somebody's 0 had to go....

Mayweather was doing some dirty boxing when hatton was right up close and the ref was a w*nk*r to hatton, he was one way

they both were throwing elbows and hatton was punching alot to the back of the head. they both were kinda just clinching and hatton was scared of PBF's speed whenever there was distance.

As soon as hatton got in there what he does as it is his style and as soon as he went close for these then a second the ref would break them up, stupid ref, floyd and ricky should of started on the ref lol.

Hatton isnt a sport he is one of the best in the world at boxing and he may no be the king of the ring in welterweight but he is the king of the ring in light-welterweight.
Hatton got aggressive because of the ref, when doing fighting the ref can make you very angry before I had my bike accident, I used to do mixed martial arts, kickboxing and boxing and when the ref isnt playing fair it gets you angry. When my dad was a freestyle wrestler(the real stuff) he was the british champion for 5 years and when the 6th year championships came the ref was my dads opponent dads friend so he was on my dads opponents side and my dad made a mess of his opponent threw him everywhere and my dad lost his title and even though the ref got sacked my dad had the chance to take his title back but he quit because it started to get unfair with the refs and my dad is one of the best in britain at freestlye wrestling and got the offer to fight for britain in the olympics but he turned it down. I have just used this for an example of how bad refs can be.

I was talking about the ref and how bad they can be just to make someone happy, he may of outboxed him but mayweather got shocked by some of the hits and he even said it, hatton is still the real deal just not the top dog, but all I can say it wont make my life any harder and it wont hatton he will be in the ring soon and ko his opponent.

Well just watched it after falling asleep (sky+ftw) And tbh some of the refreeing was bs admitivily, tbh i think even with decent reffing it would of been almost the same story, as Hatton even said hes just to accurate.

I feel the ref was an arse. Everytime Hatton threw any punches, the ref would step in. Hatton couldn't get a good rhythm going in the first half of the match. Then deducting a point from Rickys corner was the stupidest decision ever.

Ricky was out boxed, I admit. After he cut his eye, he knew that Floyd would keep aiming for that eye and the fight would be over, so he slightly changed his style so he could go for the knockout win, because of this, his guard was dropped to many times and he was just walking into punches.

As Sam said, "Ricky Hatton may not be the king of the ring in welterweight but he is the king of the ring in light-welterweight."

As he said after the fight, "I didn't have to go into Welterweight, I didn't have to step out of my own back yard, but I did, because I wanted to."

Still one of the best, his boxing career is far, far, far from over.

Yes but this time it was true, you could tell when hatton shocked him, it was one of the best fights of all time and one being a light welterweight and still able to stay with the best of the welterweights for 10 rounds is good.

The ref wasn't letting hatton get a rhythem, everytime he started to get into one the ref stepped in, he was on mayweathers side and you have to admit it, the ref was out of order they should of knocked the ref out we could get the good fight we wanted, not a fight where the ref didnt let one of the opponents start punching.

Hatton seen how good mayweather really is and mayweather seen how good hatton really is. I think though if hatton had a rematch with mayweather he would win as he has learnt mayweathers style and mayweather knows if they had a rematch it would be a tuff fight, he even said him self that he will have a rematch againt hatton.
