According to the website ppl are racing but LFS tells me host not found??

I'm showing the same thing. The website is indicating people on servers race 1 and SS1, but you do not see the servers in the list of those available in game. It gives "Host not found on Master Server" message.

The servers are down at the moment, currently awaiting a certain Sam to get them going again. The reason for the web site showing the servers being popluated is that they closed uncleanly, and the data for it is read from an LFS-generated text file.
