Many tough racing teams has been off from streetracing season for a long time, and rumours say that this elite drivers racingseries would be making its death. But for D-Styles season was looking bad, becouse our number one car was still in the shed waiting for repair.

With help of various sponsors we were able to get another car to join this years streetracing series. The car we chose was an Nissan Skyline R32 GT-R. We had been testing it out for some while, but now it was time to unleash the beast! So we headed to an abandoned gasstation where all the best drivers meet up.

"Did you see that Civic and those Toyota`s which came after us from the gasstation?" -Asks my co. driver.
"Yeah, that`s normal..."
"They don`t recocnize this car untill it`s too late and they see the rear lights..."

At this time of sunday night, there really isn`t any competitive cars on the road. I wonder why?

"I think they have work to do at monday" -My co. driver says after long thinking.
We quickly change the subject becouse talking about working makes us feel bad. Allthough you could say streetracing already is some kind of a job...

Co. driver changes the radio station and starts talking about what we should definitely do next.
"When you take off the 4WD fuse, it makes this fully rear wheel drive. There should be a switch for it, so we could warm up the tires before having a race. That way we could get good... CHECK THAT OUT, PORSCHE!

Black, low and very well shaped 911 comes towards us at the other side of the road. Street lights reflects from the perfect paintjob and the low growl of the rear engine hits our ears. Porsche`s driver is in some kind of a trance, unlike others, he doesn`t even have a look at our car. He drives his sportscar forwards gently, but having a smile which shows that he has something better than others. This guy is a real player, and he does it in style!

"It goes to the gasstation! Quickly, make a u-turn and go after him!"
I do what my co. driver tells me to do, and I reach the Porsche before the gasstation. 2nd gear in and the Skyline`s straight six starts to purrr louder. Like synchronized both drivers hits the pedal to the metal. Small and beautiful Porsche unleashes its real temper, and increases its speed very fast. But the Skyline is right after his tail.

Porsche`s neat growl gets beaten by the sound of turbocharged Nissan. This Nissan`s technical masterpiece reaches the sweet Carrera with amazing speed, and every shift I make, makes massive punch on acceleration. The three and half inch Tanabe exhaust system spits flames with rage as the cheramic turbochargers whistles at higher tune than a teenager. Power which the rb26dett makes, is absolutely something stunning!

Fourth gear and nearly 8000 rpm, the Skyline gets next to the Porsche. Fifth gear in and the Nissan starts passing the Porsche.
From the Porsche`s drivers smile, you can see a little surprise. This definitely wasn`t what he expected.

You dream of illegal street racing? Bummer

I thought i was reading a dirty magazine at some point. So it's really annoying when the word Nissan comes up.

And then, out of nowhere, a corner comes up ahead! The driver of the skyline begins to turn the wheel. But, the "fine technical masterpiece made by Nissan" won't turn! He keeps turning the wheel until maximum lock, but the car does not turn. The driver slams the brakes, causing a large flat spot on his tires, which are punctured after he runs into a ditch. A few seconds later, the Porsche driver drives by the Nissan, while overwhelmed by laughter. It turns out, the Porsche driver was not even racing at all. He just had to take a piss really bad, so he was using 3/4 throttle to accelerate.

That's my ending. It actually makes the story realistic!

No, he braked for the corner when he saw the Skyline crashing.

Oh come on, that story was my first one. And besides, they raced on a highway.

And in my opinion, I did say they BOTH were beautifully built and good looking, not just the Skyline. And since it was written from the view of the Nissan, I had to write more about it. Ofcourse I could write one where the Porsche would win, but then it would be unrealistic. 400bhp porsche beating a 600+bhp skyline on straight road?

Back in 1989, The R32 GTR did beat the 911 turbo and by far. History repeats itself in 2007.
