The set prefixes have changed, they now use the three letter system. So you have to rename your, for example XF GTi_MySet.set to XFG_MySet.set. Also be sure to copy them to LFS\data\setups, where they are stored now.
PS: read the thread, as this was already explained several times
whats up with the new redline thing its stupid once you get to the point where youre suposed to shift up the car cant go any faster thats not realistic imo. The clutch get damaged automaticly on the first shift no matter how you shift (low or high rpm). Other then that the new car is fun to drive and south city looks great.
I had one little run in the new car. I didn't make it very many laps before it started slipping.
Can anyone confirm that it isn't as easy to overheat in the road cars? Definitely shouldn't be as easy to overheat as it was not even using the clutch in the new car with lifting throttle.
Nah, my comment you quoted was my first go at the new patch. I quickly had to scrap all ideas of more trying out due to kids fighting, wanting to play on NickJr.com, dinner coming soon, etc. After the kids went to bed, I had no problems with clutch in FBM, FZR, or XFG that I tried. One pixel worth of heat on the F11 display all night.
My thoughts exactly. I think I have now tried almost every car with the new patch and got almost no damage at all to the clutches (unless I really tried).
Probably the people who have problems are infact flatshifting or lifting too little or their timing is off or something.
