Clutch "biting" early, how?
I'm posting this for my friend who's not too good with English..
He wants to know how to setup a clutch pedal so that it starts biting up high on the pedal travel? In other words, just as he barely lifts the clutch pedal he wants the clutch to catch it, so the friction point to be high, he doesn't want to release the pedal more than half a travel in order for clutch to bite... Anyone understand what i mean? If anyone did, he will apreciate the help...
Tell him to get X30, its been sorted

What do you mean sorted
In real life, you can (in most cars i think) go to the mechanic and tell him where you want your clutch to bite on the pedal travel... In this case, my friend wants his clutch to bite as he just lift his foot a bit, you know.. for example in my car, the biting point is somewhere in the middle, he wants it to be more up..
Dxtweak2.exe
By default LFS already is exactly like this. The bite point is at the very top of pedal travel, in fact I have set up my config to do the opposite of what your friend wants - I moved the bite point more to the middle of the pedal travel.

However, if it still isn't good enough for your friend, he should give DxTweak a go. With that tool you can define controller deadzones (and much more), so he could reconfigure his clutch pedal to be deadzone for the first, lets say, 75% of travel and have all analogue range in the remaining 25%.
Ok, thanks guys...
