I was in Asda last night, and they had some "mens 2 pack blister resist socks". Upon inspection they were basically socks with 2 extra bits of padding over the heel and the balls of the feet.

They're bloodly awesome if you need some extra padding when you're racing!

They're a bargain at £7 too.

'Men who need extra padding' is just asking for abuse.

I find my old skate shoes work wonders for racing in, I just wish I could drive fast enough to keep up with traffic

The old Benton Hypermarket is an ASDA nowadays...closest one to me anyways.

I don't fancy cycling 6 miles for a pair of socks though. Not in this weather at least.

Look cool, i've been using my old slippers. They're really warm and fluffy (not pink, unfortunatly) and rock for racing!
