Tire presure convertion?
Got a quick question about the racing slicks/tires in the new patch (x30)

"Racing tires generate heat more quickly and they will now wear more quickly"

I did a race in the Fox on Ky-national and could only do 3 laps on my R1 tires with full presure.

My questions is.. If my R1s last 3 laps with full presure, how much presure would I need in R2s to last the same distance? Or even R3s to last the same distance?

Is there a chart somewhere that has this info? I searched the forums but came up empty handed.

And plz plz don't flame me for some reason
Firstly, we don't know the new tyre model very well, so any data we had (we didn't) would have been useless now.

Secondly, it depends on driving style, track, fuel loads, how much passing you do, how fast you are etc etc.

Do some laps in single player and try some different pressures. Start low, and add pressure until you are okay with temps and wear. Basically.
Hmm, I don't think that can really be calculated. Not without having more detailed info on how the tyres work (specifically how the heat is generated).
When you're tyres are red hot after 3 laps, it doesn't mean they are worn. Try R2, if it doesn't get much higher then 100 degrees on the inside after a few laps, they should be fine for long races.
I tried R3s on FBM, and since the car is a real ease to drive, they last a good bucnh with 30 psi and the car doesn't feel any unda or ova. I only messed with the set a bit, and it works fine for me.
