Hi, I was racing on B&J and at the end, the results window, shows 2 points removed; even though, I had fastest lap, and AFAIK there's no Yellow flags there. What could be wrong?
When the new patch is released, the cost of joining a race in BnJ is going to be reduced, to make it less likely that you will lose points simply by participating. The original intention, always good of course, was to ensure that exceptional drivers will progress while less good drivers will progress much more slowly. However, it's become apparent that even exceptional drivers will struggle to get points, and good-to-great drivers will struggle to even tread water. This has resulted in the effective death of the Bump n Jump servers.. something we plan to fix.
this is, because i gave sam a few bucks that we can reenter the
first place in the team-stats and all HR drivers will lose points,
irrespective of the results
3. Faking all HR members to be online although they are not. Making it impossible for them to connect to CTRA servers and therefore to gain any points.
I would say that he has joined the race during the first lap (after it has started). The points system allocates points based on the number of cars which start the race, and if it is only one car, then anyone who joins after the start (on the first lap), gets minus points if they finish 2nd or lower.
I think the main problem of BnJ is that the starting position comes from who has the most points. I have the most and I always get pole position and it is much easier to win while if you start in the back you will probably be driving with a damaged car after T1.
I always thought it was the driver with the fastest lap time from the previous race that decided pole? (like at other CTRA servers) maybe its different in the B&J server, its been a while since Ive been there but it hardly seems fair?
Nop, I didn't join that particular race, I joined maybe 3 races before and waited for the restart, because every time I join I lost 3 points, I wait until getting those points before going to pits to modify the setup
I remember I started at the right of the other driver, but because I had a bad setup, in a wide turn he took the lead. That's WHY I asked the question, typical race, but weird points calculation
