Im not sure whether this should be in the hardware section, but here goes, basically i have a virus, i know what it is, i know where it is, but it is completely undeletable, even hijackthis cannot shift it, the virus program, itself installs into prgram files, and is called video add-on, has anybody heard about, or can give me any help about this, much appreciated

Failing that, give the PC a good thump with a sledge hammer, or even better an Axe. That will get the nasty blighter out of there.

The good ol' 'If in doubt, give it a clout' technique.

search for a programm called dr.delete. It assigns files to be deleted during startup.

Nothing's undeletable, maybe it just 'reinstalls' itself back to the same location when you delete it. The source of the problem is probably elsewhere tbh.

Use The Avenger by Swandog46. Link to the usage and download page here. Simply put it's the best deleter available for persistent files.
And mind you, HijackThis is a useful tool but these days it could be insufficient, particularly if the malware uses rootkit techniques (a lot of them do, nowadays).
