i was driving around and i noticed that tyres are made not very realistic, when tyre goes like that, it should dismantle, sry for my bad language look at thes pics :
If you have ever seen a car with road going tyres doing a fairly low speed slalom, you'd be surprised what happens to the tyres. It really looks like that, or, depending on the hieght of the tyre wall, even more extreme.
Watch this vid for some tyre flexing. Its from the latest season of topgear so dont watch if you dont want spoilers. http://nz.youtube.com/watch?v=gourYCpaJLU Watch from about 4 minutes on.
The tyre flex shown in those pics looks fine to me. Although I do think the flex model is maybe a little too much at lower speeds and on cold tyres.
But I think it does go a bit much on some corners where the stretch is like half the width of the tyre itself. Hopefully as the wear and stuff is improved, and pressures increase, we won't see quite as much of the silly amounts of stretching.
