The online racing simulator
In-Game Pit Options and Single Seater Options
First Idea: I have noticed that while racing if you shift+P and change your pit settings when you click ok it resets you to the back of the pack which can be very annoying if your only changin the tire wear to a lower level so itll change when you pit, my suggestion is that you can change your pit settings while racing as any driver in a real race would be able to do this through his headphones with pit crew

Second Idea: for all the single seater cars e.g. FBM, Formula XR, Formula V8, BMW Sauber. in real formula one cars you can change differential settings, fuel settings and brake settings etc in the car however cant on lfs why dont you have an option for this, yes i am only a demo user and for all i know this could be on the cars already but it wasnt on the FBM and i see that as being a smaller formula one car, do the cars have these abilities/ will lfs have these abilities in later updates?

I know - it's annoying. You just have to get it right in the first place!

A real FBM certainly wouldn't. A Formula Renault (FOX) certainly wouldn't. A GP2 (FO8) might have it. And I think you can change the brake settings in a BF1 anyway.
Do the F11 and F12 keys not work in the demo?

Because there you can do just what you suggested. Of course, you can't change the whole set during a race. But that's not possible IRL, either.

Can you adjust the settings in the F11 and F12 menu? Didn't know that. You mean like the Brake Bias?
Yes, depending on the car you can.
Sigh...

Yes, look in F11 and F12 overlays. Depending on the car, you can adjust brake balance and ARB settings. In F12 you can alter far too many things, like camber, toe, compound, pressures, wings...

As for pitting - if you drive into your pits and get out of the car to change some settings (which is what Shift-P is) then you'd expect to come out last...
Yes, you can. By default, use your arrow keys. Up/down to change item and left/right to change value.
i cant use up down left and right to change the settings in F11 or F12 as thats what i use to steer :S hrmm i wonder what the buttons are.!

How? I've pressed every button on my keyboard and none make a difference !
If you are driving with keyboard you have to press Shift + the arrow keys to change it.

Quote from RTFLFSM :
In-Race Car Data
F9
- Toggle Tyre Temperatures & Loads Display.
F10 - Toggle Damage Display
F11 - Toggle Live Settings display
F12 - Toggle Pit Instructions (use arrow keys to change pit instructions)
F - Toggle Forces view (force vectors on cars and tyres)
SHIFT+L - Toggle Suspension View overlay

It's also in the .pdf in the docs folder of LFS under "pit strategy".

What's worth mentioning also is that with CTRL+SHIFT when viewing tyre temperatures you get the, arguably more informative, surface temp of the tyre.
Now, let me explain.

F11 is Live settings. Things that you can change automatically whilst in the car. These are brake bias for all racing cars, and the ARBs in the GTRs, FO8 and BF1. The road cars have none.

This is realistic, you can change the ARBs in a lot of classes IIRC, and the brake bias. What could be added are things like fuel mixture, TC for the BF1 etc. Not sure what else, but there probably are some.

F12 is pit instructions. This tells the pit crew what to change in a pit stop. These are things like tyre pressures and compound, camber and wing angles.

Camber angles might not be that realistic, and some things could be added ...

Shift-P is basically spectating and clicking garage again, but in one keystroke.
