Turn your limewire off too

Seriously tho ,
How do you connect to your Adsl with BT modem(USB)~? or do you use a router? , wireless link anywhere in the system ? any other users on the network or other programs using the connection at the same time (spyware?) .
What are you PC specs do you experiance lag in other multiplayer gamers?

SD.
Also if you have a firewall, try to shut it down. I am using Kerio Personal Firewall 4.13 and whenI turn it down, LFS runs better online. I have 1MBit ADSL connection.
I can't see that Kerio could have anything to do with it. I'm using Kerio here and no problems whatsoever. Turning firewall off while being in the net sounds slightly risky to me...I just turn all those active spyware things off before starting LFS so I won't get any annoying pop ups ruining my races
Never had any problems
Ive never had problems with having firewalls running, chattin on msn, downloading stuff and playin lfs online lol

Altho culd be the fact i got 4Mb broadband lol my only problem is fps drops with too many racers onlin but nvm lol

hmmm, using a dlink router and currently connecting over WiFi, i dont use Limewire (anymore) although the WiFi could be the problem...
Have you tried rigging up a temporary maybe long patch lead? i have a dlink router dg834gt ? it has wireless and the new firmware (beta) helped increase genral wifi stability but wifi still does add some lag, you cant beat a cable.

any way you could run a cat5 cable from near the router to your pc throu loft or somthing ?
