Patch Y: adding AIs when carsguest=1
Sorry not sure where to post this.

but we just had someone on our server who created himself and also 2 AI cars on the track, all using the same registered name, all 3 cars appeared on the minimap as blue arrows.

Can provide a replay if needed.

Thought I should mention it, sorry if its all ready been discussed.

That's a feature, not a bug. If you don't want AI drivers, set max drivers pr. connection (or something to that effect) to 1.
oh yeah... his reg name Dazek. strangely he doesnt appear 3 times in the replay but everyone see it on the server.

Hmm, yeah you have a point. I would think the AI drivers also would show up in the replay. Unless that's a bug of course.
Redline servers always have the following option set in the server config :-

//max number of cars (real+ai) per guest pc
/carsguest=1

so it's not that...

No doubt about it, this is a hack, plain and simple, other server owners should watch out for this on their servers, the devs have been notified...

I have had this happen on my server a few times, the problem is that no one else can join the server because it just keeps giving a "oos / cp" error when they try to connect. They then get caught in a loop of autoreconnect / disconnect. It is impossible to spectate or kick the AI's from the server, so it looks like a bug to me.
I have also saved a replay if it's needed.

It doen't matter how many /carsguest you have set, it still works even when set to 1.
We did a test from 2 different pc's we added 6 AI's with /carsguest=1.
I also have a replay of this and 1 from demo where you can see them all in a replay. They don't show in a full version replay.
