I wont start dreaming about BMW M5 and other real cars... i just want 1 car to be modified. I know we have rally cars like XFG-RB4 , but still... RB4 isn't the thing i want. Okok its 4WD, powerful... but not it, thin i would WANT , is XFC - XF Cross, something that would be more WRC-ish . XFG with 4WD, little bit more power and turbo. RB4 is like some stylish saloon or smth, not really rally. But little fast 4WD hatchback that would be more like Skoda Fabia WRC, Focus, 207/206 - that would be cool !

XFC for the win !
Quote from Dooonster :some older cars that dont handle as good lol well we do have the Xrt to do this reminds me of driving any old Yank RWD

Old muscle cars and older pickup trucks from the west side of the pond would be awesome, no? The old pushrod big-inch inline sixes and big-inch V8's roaring about, powdering tires and yet still sliding the nose randomly...

Totally agree
Karts will be cool , wouldn't mind the Roccar (from race of champions)
would be fun driving that around lfs tracks
Mk.2 Granada

and a Volvo 240 Estate
A van, seriously, we need a van!
And a RWD pickup truck =D
Not convinced about the van idea, but I said pickups way back (although maybe not specifically RWD ). They'd work for both road and rallycross tracks. The Chevy Silverado or GMC Sierra for example. High CoG means a different driving style, slower corners and close races.

You're right, but still, the van, it would be a great laugh xD And maybe a big 4x6 truck :o
Quote from Dooonster :How about a AE36??? that would be sooo cool in inital d colours to lol

You know its AE86?

Hachiroku = 86

Hachi = 8

Roku = 6

Well I don't wanna see more cars, I wanna see some way to tweak cars more. like some ways to tune the car.

But its up to the developers on how to do things. I dont think they listen so much in here... ^^,
Without reading the whole track, my suggestions are

* a Le Mans / American Le Mans Prototype (god I love these series :lol: )
* a 60s f1 car (think gpl)
* a nascar for the ovals

and many more
i would like to see just any real saloon or Lurxy cars some thin like BMW M5 or M6 and an OFF Road Track like sand and desrt and i hope if i can see it
Ford Escort RS Cosworth!!!

and some american muscle car like a '70 dodge challenger or a '69 chevy camaro
1: A dedicated rallycar with 4WD, maybe two. One from the 80's and one from present day.

2: A supercar, something like Koenigsegg, McLaren F1, Bugatti, you get the idea.

3: An expensive family car, Audi RS6 for example.

4: One open wheeler (think LFS got enough soon), either an old Formula one car from the 70's, or one big motha phunka drag racer.
LFS has way too many open wheelers. 4 is enough i think. But i do dislike them and prefer touring/GTR cars So a DBR9/M3 GTR/320si WTCC is what a i want (well, lookalikes, FRs with N/A engines, 'DBR9' would need some competition, that a FZR Turbo could bring , and FR competition to UFR/XFR)
MK II Ford Granada estate with nothing but a drivers seat :lmao:
This car would be nice too, or at least something that sounds as evil

Later part of video shows on track and incar action too, nice flames from exhaust pipe, and sound of those 5 cylinders is real torture to ears (in good way)

that is one quick car if you can call it a car, i think there is only one thing that maybe able to catch it and thats in full chassis street trim

To be honest it feels like most of the car-types are already represented, although it seems (maybe I'm completely wrong here) that the more easy to drive cars (low weight, well balanced, fairly low power) get the most "appreciation" (track-time). So here is my list even though I have no idea of any of these would fit above concept:
  • Lotus Elise
  • Mazda Miata
  • Ariel Atom (maybe a bit too much power)
  • Honda Beat (Mini MR with bike engine)
  • Light car with motorcycle engine (sorry, can't think of any)
A source of "cheap" PR could be if LFS claimed to be the first ever environmental conscious racing-sim to promote "green" values to the "kids". In other words introduce green cars like Hybrids (Honda Insight, Toyota Prius etc), along with other PR tricks like donations to green organisations, supply low energy buld with each licence, have fuel saving race (teach green driving) games etc. Imagination sets the limit.

Another concept that could make LFS expand customer groups is classics and vintage cars. No preference from my part.

Since I'm a big Honda fan I of course would like to see a Honda-model in the game. My favourites:
  • Civic/CRX 88-91 reason: It's light, low and fairly wide and have double-wishbone suspension (My track-day car is a Civic VT-91)
  • Civic 92-95 Reason: same as above
  • S2000 reason: basicly same reason as above but a very well-balanced FR with 240hp 9000rpm engine
  • Integra Type R reason: has been voted the best handling FF car ever many times.
  • Accord Type R reason: probably one of the most hardcore sedans ever
  • NSX reason: would be badass with a proper MR car in LFS
  • S800 reason: A classic with 9000rpm bike engine
Quote from TG44 :Ford Escort RS Cosworth!!!

Totally agree with you Or something else on 4WD Like "Subaru Impreza WRX STI" or "Mitsubishi Lancer EVO"
Quote from AndersL :

Well you have to pay for the rights for all that stuff.. Most of the time they will want their car's to be represented as the best in the game (BMW comes to mind). Plus I think LFS trys to keep different drivetrains but even classes.. Putting alot of the same FF car's wouldn't be worth there while (I would think). The closest you'll see to a NSX/Elise is the Raceabout (just imagine it to be a T top).

We might as well get a Smart car with a CBR engine in it for that matter (in all seriousness it would be fun to drag with)

I think the only reason they sold there name to Gran Turismo was because it was soo widely known it was good advertisement regardless because everything was classed so accurately.. But noticed how Porsche or Ferrari would never sell their name. But you look at project gothem the Ferrari had to be on the cover of the game

Cars we wanna see in S3
