Hello, there is a thing where i can't figure out the reason at the moment.

AS Club, 10 laps. My first laps are middle 1.02s then while racing the top speed is decreasing drastically. Beginning, with about 225km/h, and then from lap 5 about 220km/h.

The clutch is absolute ok. Tyre temperature is nearly constant or at least not red.

I have a feeling that i loose engine power?
In my setup i have the preload set to 0. Is that maybe the problem?

Its a little bit frustrating, because in the last laps i can only do 1.04s or high 1.03s. I do not know why i loose the speed!?
Is it possible to harm the engine with wrong downshifting maybe?

I hope anyone can explain or help

you didn`t specify the car. some are sensible to over-revving. if that`s the case, yes.. u loose some horsepower.

I would guess it's the FOX.

Yeah you downshift when your in a high gear to a lower gear then the needle will go down below the redline and your wheels might/will lock up.

engine damage..... yep, i noticed that too in We1@FOX.....

No wind, engine popcorn i do not really hear. no damage at chassis.

Clutch overheating perhaps?

You don't harm the engine when downshifting normally, but if you don't blip you heat up the clutch. But if you shift from 6th to 1st while going at top speed you will hurt the engine.

Maybe you shift down like you used to with patch X.. but now as the redlines were changed you might overrev the engine while downshifting and therefore cause engine damage.. maybe..

Yes, i downshift like in patch x. Maybe that is a problem. I will try to figure that out.

When downshifting, make sure your revs are kept below limiter rpm, then there won't be engine damage, if reason is that in first place.

If calibration lock is off, it could also be spiking throttle pedal, maybe?
