Where's my skin?
OK, Im probably missing something really obvious here. But Im ill with a nasty bout of flu so gimme a break!

The issue: Im really keen to get busy making skins, having done similar in There.com and Second Life. So I've made myself a simple helmet design just to check I can get it all working. Alas, I can't! I've uploaded the skin into the LFS World browser and it's now listed in "My Online car skins". However, when I go to apply the skin to a helmet in game, it isn't listed. I've read through the tutorial and have not found the relevant information. Im a S2 licence holder.

Also, how do I apply the skin into the viewer?

Any help would be much appreciated

Ty in advance, XjonX
Did you put in your skins folder?

LOL, I swear that us men really do suffer worse than women when it comes to Flu/colds. Glad to say I appear to be on the mend now, just in time to return to work (oh great!)

Back to skinning then...

I was wondering....the little details like the door seals and panel joins....do I need to repaint them in or are they a permanant, non eraseable part of the templates?

alot of people use paintshop pro to skin and thus work in layers. i prefere corel draw and i don't use layers. but to answer your question. no you do not need to "re-draw" them as they are part of the cmx (car)
awesome! I use PS7 which does indeed work in .psd files!
