Well, for some reason, the FBM is causing not only LFS, but my WHOLE system to hang over and crash. It's happened 3 times so far, all in the FBM, twice at South City, and once at Blackwood.

Reinstall the patch.

Ususally on most servers, regardless of location, I don't lag much at all. But I do lag on some servers.

The test patches sometimes crashed my desktop, 3 times to be exact, except it happened when I logged off one user, and logged onto another and tried to run LFS.

This happens to me too, Im playing then bam crashes. Usually if im involved in a collision.

And ideas whats causing this yet?

My LFS (Y) crashed 3 times since release. The Screen hangs like a screenshot and the sound is like a frequent loop.

Nothing helped, then a reset.

I don´t know, if it has something to do with it:

But I had the same problems with testpatch X30 and furtunatly once i got a LFS-Crash message.

I have a GeForce 8800GTS 640MB SSC edition. I updated to the latest drivers and LFS hasn't crashed since.

It just crashed my desktop again, here is what was done.

Logged onto my main user to transfer files to my external harddrive about two hours ago.
Came back down onto my desktop, logged into my "gaming" account, ctrl alt del and logged off my main account, tried to start up LFS, and my computer crashed.

No BSOD, no nothing, just .. crash and rebooted.

ok, i had to unistall a small aplicattion for shift lights using the ports of lfs...running fine but without lights indicators

Patch Y was great (except laggy SP but i dont play SP)...but today Patch Y just crashed my video driver and my whole system just shut down. This happened over and over again each time i try to play LFS.

Like I said, updating my graphics cards drivers did the trick. You should do it too. Just keep in mind you will have to set any AA/AF settings you have again.

My graphics care was already update (the highest version of the Forceware for laptops)

But i did update my Microsoft Framework (w/e that does) and that help so I'm fine now

I got a Bluescreen while racing today. After a problemreport to Microsoft I got this Bluescreen report, but I don´t know if it has something to do with that:

I have to say, there was no application running on my DediServer.

After one week with several ctd´s a day, I figured out it was Catalyst AI. Tried all from Cat 6.9-7.12, it was allways the same.

Disabled Catalyst AI and now lfs works like a charme since two days without any hickups.

I also get a random freeze followed by a dump to desktop with sound looping, have to reboot the pc (hardboot) as its frozen.
