I poped in to the demo the other day, and I agree, the XRG is really fun to drift.

The XRG IS really fun to drift. End of story. It is much harder, but since it's RWD it's totally possible. The DEMO noobs simply have no idea what drifting really is, since what they were doing in the XRT was just powersliding, not drifting.

Those "leet" demo drifters are now S2-licensed (some) and it's invading the S2 drift servers.

the whole "shikane" lot moved over to S2 for example.

On the other hand I got the feeling that because of the new "Cruise" -filter these servers aren't as populated as before the patch. Its not that you find the top three populated servers being Cruise ones anymore.

I popped over to the demo drift servers with a few friends of mine yesterday.They were whining ALOT because of the XRT being removed from demo.I dont really see a difference.On the other hand,the racing servers are COMPLETELY different.They are having a blast.They are having great sportsmanship and are having fun with the FBM.I met this guy on demo (forgot his name) who havent played LFS in a long time on a drift server.He was completely satisfied with the game.He didn't even whined about the XRT being removed.He was actually happy to have the FBM and he was actually satisfied!IF one demo drifter is satisfied with the changes,why can't all the others be satisfied?

My problem right now is, when I think of racing, I think which combo should I drive and then I cant decide and I dont go online
I bet if I was in demo, I'd race more often lol !

I go online, if I see a server full of ppl in my friends list though, but I only join if it's on Road cars

But it's cool that ppl in demo are racing, the GTT was the "BMW" of the demo world, where ppl did stupid things in it

No offence BMW fans, it's my favourite car, but in Estonia it has the reputation of a killer car :P

true lol xrt require no skill while the xrg does and his a lot more fun to drive too

Imo moving XRT was great move for Demo.. All the ones that were whining, mostly they weren't even racers. Still tho, there are still servers in X patched LFS. FBM moved demo way more to racing style, and now we can drive with an actual racing machine.

I love the new bmw car added, you can still drift with a supercharged mr, it's infact easier to control since there is no turbo lag torque spikes. but the thing is the gt is a good drift car too, it's basic and it's fr.

i'm really happy with the selection, just don't take away the gt too...
