Poll : Auto Clutch? And when?

I use auto-clutch all the time
180
I never use it
105
I use it only in cars where it's needed/more real
66
I don't know what the crap you are talking about

Not fast enough with a clutch, and my feet hurt during heel-toe, plus the fact I can't do it quick enough, I have to say auto-clutch.
I don't get the second poll option
No i dont use Auto-Clutch.I use to on kb but now im using no autoclutch on KB or my G25.
I have used it in the FOX, FO8, BF1 and MRT, but I haven't driven them since patch Y - I might be able to turn it off in the FOX, FO8 and the MRT now.
I like Manual more so i use manual

The BF1 is now auto-clutch on the other single seaters auto-clutch doesn't do anything on gearchanges.
Haven't used after the Y test patches. Didn't really bother using clutch in X, but now it feels better and more fun.

FZR + H-gate + heel-toe = the sex
I allways use auto clutch. But I still manage to heat up the clutch sometimes. I really are bad at getting used to lift the trottle a little bit every time I`m gearing
I have a DFP so I use auto-clutch, always have used auto-clutch and there is no difference between patch X and Y for me, changing gear and not burning the clutch difference.

The BF1 only has 1 option: autoclutch ON.

Manual clutcher here
I use to use autocluch as I only have a two pedal wheel set. If I had a g25 i would not use it.
Quote from VoiD :All-time-auto-clutcher...

I would like to clutch myself, but I´m just a poor DFP-user. Button-clutch seems to me... ...well, not right somehow.

+1
Quote from DeKo :I use it only in cars where it's needed/more real
Thats the most ridiculous poll option ive ever seen, why would it ever be more realistic in any of the cars we currently have?

Agreed. Everyone who voted for that option is lying to themselves and they should have voted for the first or the last option.
I voted for that option (although I objected to the "more real" part) because I only use it for the open-wheelers that don't have it by default.

But then I'm still using Patch X30 because I've no net connection at home. I don't know how it feels now
Until I get my hands on a 3 pedal set up, I have to use auto clutch with my old piece of junk Microsoft Sidewinder FFB.
Quote from wark :Don't be so sure of that! Auto clutch spends much more time riding the clutch than any moderately proficient button pusher or real-life driver would manually. Anyway, I have a hunch all the whiners were using auto.

I only fried the clutch once, and it was temporarily, it got red a little bit but turned orange again. Other than that, never had any trouble with it (during a race). So I just started lifting off, got used to that in like a second, so no real problem there.
G25 so manual clutch - never drive single seaters. I need a raised brake pedal + shoes though.
I don't use autoclutch. I have a DFP, so I use the "X" button for the clutch. It's not like you shift gears in a corner anyway!
Don't know why anyone would use button clutch, and there should be no advantage to it over autoclutch (imho).
I have no 3rd pedal, so I have to use Autoclutch.
Unfortunately, i dont have the option of using manual clutch with my DFP although I would love to. I really want a G25!!
#47 - Osco
manual all the way

(G25 so it would feel quite stupid not using all of it
If I had a G25, I would be using full manual too of course. But I have a DFP and I'm not all that worried about my clutch while rejoining (I don't crash THAT much :tilt, and I mostly do pick-up races without pitstops. I'd like to do longer races, but then CTRA has to offer it in Race 1

Bullcrap, since i use it on the cars that im not comffy clutching manually.. so therefore my vote is 100% correct relating to my driving:

"I use it only in cars where it's needed"

Hell, i definitely need it on some cars, for example LX6 on a bitchy track.
I have never used auto clutch myself, tried it but it felt way too easy

I think a lot of people don't realize they could have a clutch for not very much money at all. All you need is a second crappy steering wheel, it doesn't have to have FFB or anything. If you have a crappy old console (PSX) steering wheel you could use the pedals from that. or an old Game Port wheel your mate has but does not use anymore etc etc.

PSX controllers and Game port controllers can be connected to your PC via these http://www.rockfire.com.tw/ (click "Product" then "Accessory" and its the last two on the page)
I bought mine at Maplin for less than 15 quid.

Now, get with the analogue clutching
