Hey,

I'm having trouble with a new webhosting company. I'm uploading index.php as my default page, but it wont recognize it. It will work for index.htm but not for the .php one.

This is the error i get:

I have contacted the webhosting company but i haven't heard anything back. Anyone had this problem before?

It seems, PHP isn't (properly) installed. But I don't know what you can do apart from contacting the company... or can you access the configuration of the server?

PHP is workin fine. I can type http://www.mydomain.com/index.php and everything is fine. but i cant type http://www.mydomain.com or i get the error.
i dont have access to the server settings. i've also contacted the hosting company and they basically told me to use frames or re-direct... so i think i'm just going to re-direct from the index.htm to a home.php or something.

yep! lol! oh i would have ditched them a long time ago if it was my choice....
