G25 sequential not working
Just finished modding the shifter of my g25 by shimming the spring and ball to make it a bit stiffer and adding a rubber band as shown on the rsc forums.

now my sequential stick doesn't work, and the sequential LED on the left of the D-pad doesn't come on. H-gate mode works perfect as intended with the mod, but it just wont recognise sequential mode

any hints before I open it up again?
thnx
mine has the same problem, although i didnt mod it, i cut it in half (didnt touch any mechanicals though just cut wires), im hoping its just something caught in the sensor....

Check that link however mate...it notes that it may not work with those mods you did...should find the info you need

There is a "lever switch" that must be in the "open" position for the sequential mode to work. You must have damaged/jammed or altered this switch when you modified your shifter. The Sequential LED comes on just as you start turing the Sequential/H shifter Knob CCW because the switch is "made" when the Knob is in the "H shift" mode.

thanks, I made a 'strut' between the two metal plates from a strip of aluminum, works fine now, more realistic feel and less wobbly. shifter feels more solid now with more resistance.
problem solved
