AI fuel does not use driver-setup fuel settings
The AI does not use the setup provided by the driver when it comes to fuel. if i want to have one AI start with fuel for 20 laps and one for like 30 laps to find out if a 2 or 3 stop strategy is better for a race, i can't do that...

this prevents also the use of the AI as a pacecar, as i can't put in only 1% fuel to have something like flying start.
so that means they also don`t use players restrictions or just the fuel setting?
i noticed that to and it kinda sucks...
Ai's also can't drive in windy conditions.. dont know why :s
I think thats because of they just drive by memory. I mean they dont check how are driving, if they hit you. They don`t get any feedback.

I think so.

When i'm starting a qualification, for example on Westhill the ai always have 7% of fuel, whatever setup i order them to use. That's indeed stupid :/.
It's clever in a way - they put in enough fuel to complete a race. But I agree it would be nice to be able to force the AI fuel loads/strategies occasionally.

Fortunately the AI remains incomplete in the short-term, as it's not capable of driving in the wind. So that means that between now and S2 Scawen will do some more work on the AI (and hopefully include this ability).
You can force the AI to use your setup, but the fuel is not part of the setup, so there is nothing essentially wrong. That side, I agree with what Tristan said.
Maybe a little bit off-topic, but I would like that fuel-% is in setups, and not just another slider you'll have to set before you race on another track (And another lap amount).

If it could be included in a setup, I could make setups like "XRR_oval_r_70laps" and thus don't have to remember what amount of fuel to put...
