The online racing simulator
The LX8 was a V8 right?

Then +1 from me anyway, as lfs needs more V's and Flat engines rather than the Inline engine, but +1 anyway to more cars, the more the merryer
I would like to see another high powered LX... LX6 can be tricky to drive at times but I think its great fun, and good practice for throttle control. Once you've mastered the throttle its great. Never did drive the LX8 though, I unfortunately didn't learn about LFS until just over a year ago, and wish I had known about it sooner... Oh well enjoying every second.
ok lets get this straight just cause im demo dosent mean that i am any worse than u so y are u flamming me ur saying that wow u paied 50 dollars more and now ur better than me? (quote"y do u care u r demo a racer) well i care beacause i love lfs and its the only thing that i do if there was no lfs and girls i would have no life so stfu i love lfs just cause my parents wont give me 50 dollars or 24 euros dosent mean im any less into lfs than u r and i also care because im active in lfs and its forums and i will have s2 very soon so STFU:bluegrab:

Ever heard of a key on the keyboard that has a sign on it called 'dot'? Or 'comma'? Geez...

Anywho, LX6 is IMO very very hard to drive. Dunno, maybe it's just my f**ked up MOMO pedals because the throttle is moving up and down like a weight on a spring... So basicly no throttle control for me

I think people are just wondering why a demo racer would get worked up over an LX8, when the LX4 and 6 arent even available to a demo racer. If there is any hint of a 'crack' user then the flames go up quite quickly!

Oh, and this is still an available image soo hmmmm
For those of you to young to LFS to know, the LX8 did indeed have racing slicks, and quite wide tires too.
is that an lx8 in ur pic? above me

Bob should supply LX8 mod with tweak when he gets it ready, that would make many happy faces
what are the specs to the lx8 gtr?
/me wants to remake it in mecaik.
Quote from rainspecialist :is that an lx8 in ur pic? above me

No, it says it is LX unlimited under it Well what do you think?
? No that's an LX6 lol

LX8 is obvious in many ways, it's got wide slicks, it has dual exhausts (well, one on each side), and has black fender flares on the rear.
I wish it had a more robust looking hood or something not so exact to the LX6, since it has a bigger engine in it.

@ Zach Zoomy, I don't know if i still have them, but I can figure out those specs for you, just give me some time (hour at most)
I want an LX12 - and LX with a V12 engine
Well I got them far sooner than I thought it would take, RSC is much faster these days

Quote from XCNuse :watching the ESL video of S2.. hte GTiR has no turbo?
its only inline 4? what??? i thought they said it was a turbo??

also, turns out
LX8 is called the
LX8 GTR
....wonder if vic will let me post what it is..owell, if you can see it in a video here is the LX8 "GTR" as follows :

Engine: 3.0 Liter V8
Power: 257 kW (345bhp) @ 9481 RPM
Torque: 285 Km (210lbft) @ 7392 RPM
Total mass: 753 kb (1581lbs [i believe its a bit fuzzy])
Power-weight: 341 W/kg (485 bhp/ton)
Weight dist: 43.2 F 55.8 R

One last update:
the FZ50 i caught was clocked going 150 mph down a straight (not sure which track, but the one with the houses off to side, thats all i know)

(http://forum.rscnet.org/showpo ... =2067792&postcount=16)

Those are the exact specs according to the beta test version which was at the annual Games Convention, held in Leipzig, Germany, in August 2004. I still have no idea who to thank, these were taken by photograph and released over the net back when all the S2 hype was going on, with all the pictures from the GC, lots was released, and much was overlooked.

Here is a better picture of the LX8, thanks goes to 4players.de for keeping all of these old pictures.

No an LX16
The LX8 is pretty piss poor to drive with the tyre physics that were on that version of LFS, I managed to nab a copy from a friend and it isn't all that great really

If it was dumped into patch Y it would definitely be awesome and fun to drive, until then we can all hope and tweak till we get it.
thats as close as i could get with my limited knowledge of how that stuff actually works. even with roadtires you can keep it on the street pretty easily.

if somebody manages to recreate it precisely post your tweak values pls

Ja, nasty bloody * change eh?
Quote from rainspecialist :ok lets get this straight just cause im demo dosent mean that i am any worse than u

that means you are selfish and don't support 3 hard working men who provide you with entertainment in the form of a great racing simulator , so kinda....you are worse...
Quote from Bob Smith :LX8? Easy.

How weight distribution can be towards rear in such car that ends almost top of rear axle? You should stop making such unrealistic mods and concentrate to finishing that tool that people who actually understand how to make them could bring realistic cars to life
