hey everyone,
have had LFS for a few months now and have been playing on and off, would like to get into it a little more seriously i noticed there seems to be a mixed bag of people loyal to using the keyboard and others with wheels, unfortunately i dont have the cash to get a wheel at the moment, just wondering if anyones got any tips on where to set return rates etc etc just to make it a little more user friendly..

Mouse steer will help. In the meantime, save up for a Logitech MOMO or a Driving Force Pro. You won't regret once you upgrade to a wheel.

haha yeh, i saw one in the shop today $400 bucks australia sale price, had a clutch n 6spd shifter perfect for none other than lfs, but thanks for the help in the meantime

Not necessarily. I was faster with keyboard than with mouse.

Thats the G25. Great wheel and more and more common here. It works well in most games although not everything supports the shifter. Even games like Project Torque support the G25

Worth the money. Mine set me back $600NZD

Why not try and get a Logitech Formula Force GP or a MS sidewinder

You can pick them up on ebay for fairly cheap, around £10

600 bucks!! jesus thats a bit of money, i have a bad habit of if i want to get something i usually just jump straight to the top of the line product, ill just start saving and keep a lookout for anything else along the way

Myself (and my dad) also have that habit - which is why my new laptop has a blu-ray disc burner in it lol

haha thats the spirit, it happens like that all the time, went to replace a simple cable on a pushbike, ended up walking out with 350 bucks in new bits
