I thought this "Falcon" was the name for the new graphics engine

Latest Autosimsport has a new interview. So they now have this "Kart Attack" game Xbox Arcade Live, that Ferrari game and this Falcon project. In the interview Ian Bell said "it's going to be better than Gran Turismo 5", whether he meant only graphics or not, make your own assumptions from that... and then he is talking about pad support. Doesn't sound good.

And about the Ferrari project / engine, Ian Bell said exactly an year ago in the previous interview:

"No, it's not based on any GTR2 code. We're working from scratch on everything."

"We're re-using the suspension, and some other aspects of the ISI tech here. And adding Ageia PhysX layers on top of that."

Don't really know how does that first part make any sense when that second part nautralizes what he just said.

I'll agree with you about the others but GTL certainly wasn't/isn't crap. Granted they were all made by the same company, but GTL had/has a certain charm about it that excused/excuses all the short comings it had/has.

It ignored the laws of physics, which can't really be excused IMO. Of course I'm looking forward to the rF conversion with new physics
It seems that iRacing will be released before any of Blimey's stuff and it's pretty good odds the physics will put everything else out there to shame. I have high hopes for that one. I just hope I can afford it.

Maybe so, but chucking a Lotus Cortina round Monza and Dijon is a whole hunk of fun imo, but then again i'm not as much of a perfectionist as you AJP (thats not a dig or criticism, just an observation)

@Kev: As to the Starforce protection thing, i honestly don't remember ever having a problem with it, but then again i do tend to re-format my HD regularly so i guess that would get rid of any nasties.

And i'm sure Oscar Wilde would be more interested in cupping rather than kicking, and of the two, i'd definitely prefer a swift kick in the nads (probably wouldn't feel it anyway )
GTL is great. Yes, it has starfu*k and I have had problems with it, but the game itself is great. And it's not really that unrealistic too. It's not perfect, but it still is one of the bestests sims. Great cars and tracks. Physics aren't perfect, but they sure are challenging and not that long way from realism.

About the graphics, this Ferrari mod looks good in screens, always when I have seen screens of these ISI games, they have looked great, but somehow I always found them to look quite boring in-game. Actually I think LFS looks much better.
