ok so u all already kno that i am a cheapo. lol. well anyways there is a new momo on amazon for 76 dollars (after christmas sale and also a dfp for 100) i can only afford the most 100 dollars i want a wheel that will last long and is durable and is good for LFS any ideas? i mean i dont drive recklessly it can be fargile but i want the wheel to be made with quality. i also heard the momos pots like break and then its done which should i buy i need a wheel that will last 1 yr +

Updated version of it. Rev. 1 had pedal problems. In Rev 2. they were sorted.

DFP's had pedal problems? I thought only Momo's had those? Also, if you buy a DFP off Amazon, there is a 30 day return policy so if you do get a Rev 1. DFP, you can return it just as easily.

thats nice i c lemme post a link to the pic just to make sure.... so i guess ill go with a dfp. is it really worth the extra 20 dollars? or is a momo better cause i heard the dfp turns slower than the momo, and lastly i also heard theat you can change the steering wheel on the dfp to a real cars wheel. Is that true, if so i would have fun with that

Momo Racing is a fantastic wheel, I wouldn't give mine up for anything but a G25, the Momo Racing has 200 degrees rotation, I've never had a single problem with it, except when I pulled on the sequencial shifter to hard (which I never use anymore anyway), but was easily replacable by the other sides' spring.

I've only used a DFP once, and it was at a Frys store on GT4, yes it's true the DFP has 900 degrees of rotation which is like the average car, but just keep in mind that is 2 and a half (I believe?) rotations each direction until it locks.

Also keep in mind the DFP is quite loud, it's wheel and pinion, and is .. actually extremely loud.
It is by no means slower from when I used it on GT4, it rotates just fine.

edit- Jakg is right, I forgot to mention, yes the DFP and Momo Racing do use the same pedals, they just have different outer plastic shells.

awww man so they both have probs? mayb i should forget this and get a formula force gp is that ok? i just want a good wheel with 240 degrees or more and paddle shifters and a brake and throttle is there any cheap wheel that has quality? or should i just get the momo os dfp and when the pedals break get new ones from warranty then if it breaks again change pots + put ribbion tape so i never breaks again?

srry for bump but i just read alot of bad reveiews on amazon about the dfp like cheap clamps so when ff is enabled it makes it hard not to break the clamps i might go with a momo since its cheaper

How much is a thrustmaster rally gt pro in your area/currency?
I've got mine for about 3 years now, still working bloody great, silent, exact, pedals are still fine. 270°, 3 pedals, MUCH sturdier than the dfp.

How to break your clamps off a dfp- turn ff to 110 in game and on wheel.
next go into a tight corner fast
next turn hard with the ff you should natrually have a hard time turning then pop goes the weasel

Ummm, hard turning is one thing, but the rotation point is at the center of the wheel and this opinion is based off a G25 user who never used the DFP... I have heard good things, but if possible I would keep saving a little longer, the G25 is the best investment I have made yet, probably including my new PC but thats a whole different argument. Anyways, I have a momo (sitting unused) that I used for about 9 months and it worked perfectly, would still work now if I needed it to, but I would probably have a hard time going back to 200 degrees of rotation (although I thought it had 240? hmm), and the plastic parts... Waiting for the G25 is your best option (IMO), but I haven't had a problem with Momo, and have heard good things about the DFP... I don't think you will go wrong with whatever choice you decide to make as I know money can sometimes be a little tight. G25 is only about $240 (free shipping on Amazon) so if you save up a little longer it should slowly drop, very slowly but still)

ok so im getting the momo now but first i need 76 dollars so ill get it like this. my parents said i need to sacrafice somthing or give up. im going to sell my universal wheel for 40 and my old wheel for 30 which is 70 ill add 6 dollars myself and there i go! shippping is free for the momo and also if i want to get s2 i have to give up somthing 2. but i dont no what to give up

all i have is a ps2 a psp 2 games for the ps2 and 1 game for the psp.
i cant give away the ps2 because my family uses that and i dont no about the psp because that was a gift from my father and he wont let me sell it. ill just have to start saving bit by bit again.....

You must be one of the luckiest dudes on the earth, 99.99999999% of those rev 1 pedals has gone broken within 1 day to 6 months

I must've been lucky too then, my 3 sets lasted 10-11 months each
