According to the ReadMe that accompanies the CMX viewer, the LFS cars can be converted to other games providing credit is given and a link back to the LFS web site.
These conversions have been around for a while.. I remember 2 fellas asking me if they could use my brazil scenes as a base (MRT, FZR, FXR IIRC), at which point I also mentioned about the credit requirements of LFS, to which I believe they added when uploading to the TN site.
This is another generous offering of sorts by the LFS devs, they had no qualms with me asking about an rF conversion either, which is probably their closest "competition", providing the credit was given etc

Ian
EDIT: Hmm, checking the OP's link out, that site isn't the site I was thinking of and it looks from the preview images, the MRT has been modified (not sure how the devs feel about this area however) and I can see one of Al's skins on the XFR. The original ones are (can't find the MRT):
It's never been released as I never completed it to the standard I was looking for (model is fine, including a sweet damage model, but physics isn't my strong point and only touched on sound editing for games).
Maybe one day I'll actually get around to completing it and finishing off the MRT and FO8 I already have roughly in the game, but not releasing something in its current condition, sorry.. it's just not good enough in my eyes yet.
I used logitech profiler to give the game its own profile with Combined thr/brk. I also just gave the game 90deg steering. To tiring trying to wind on 900 degrees every 2 seconds or so .
