Ok so ima guy from New york, Moved to florida 4 years ago. When i lived in New york i hung with ALL black people, harlem, Bronx, Queens,Exc... But now i act "black" so i am called a wigger due to my color being white!When acting "black" is a stereotype! I find it just as bad calling me wigger as a black person n*****! I call all my freinds by it but a at end! All my frreinds say im black they dont care! But white people dont understand the bring up im from! What is your take?!

Why do your friends say you're black when you're white? I would be more concerned about that to be honest.

As for the word "wigger", I always found it quite funny. I used to know an Irish kid in NJ who everybody called "Black Joe", although not to his face. But he grew up in a little white town in the pine barrens, so he really had no business being all snoop dogg all the time.

I'd rather be pissed about my "friends" calling me black... It can mean they accept you, but also the opposite really. It's probably the first though.

Where I'm from there aren't really many black people. Only brown-ish
Turks to be more precise, a large part (I think it was about 30%), are turkish.

I not PRETEND anything, I am as real as they get! i WAS BROUGHT UP IN A PROJECT APARTMENT! I not FAKE anything i do or how i talk!

One simple thing, you are not black. Why be something you're not?

Try acting like yourself. You can still enjoy black music and culture without having to pretend your something that your not.

We have a DJ in England called Westwood. He's a white guy that seems to think he's black. He's a complete joke. Cracks me up every time he opens his mouth.

I spent quite some time in India. Loved the people, music, culture and everything about the place. I hung out with Indians nearly all the time i was there. I'd really like to live there. Should i start acting Indian? (or should that be Windian:razz advice please!

It's just the same if a kid with both white and black parents grows up mostly around the white side of the family - is he "acting" white? No - it's just his socialisation. It's easy to pick up a strange accent and local dialect if you live somewhere different for a long time, but that's normal. It doesn't mean you're "acting" different.

Isn't it quite normal when you act black, you'll be accepted by the black people more, than the white? Sounds logical to me really. It's not begin closeminded, but the fact you talk about "being or acting black".. Means there is a difference, and that's the exact reason why whites will like you less.

If you've moved to a predominantly white area, I suppose you might be quite a novelty. I wouldn't worry about it; people will get to know you better eventually and thus be better equipped to judge the kind of person you are. And anyway, you'll probably start to "act white" more and more if you're no longer living in a black community.

Yea, i can see becuase i am the only guy who acts like i do, only a few black kids, hang with em all so i still get it a liltle, also i had a ex girlfreind that was black we got so many comments why is SHE with ME! i prefer black women idk why i just do! but why do guys say hey if shes with him she must like all white guys! omg it got annoying so we brooke up?!

Well, you know, I strongly believe in the idea that everyone is free to be whoever they want to be. Thing is though, I've had a friend who was white and used to talk to me as you would a white person to speak but then a few weeks later, his attitude changed to being what is known as a "Wigger". I think its ok if you lived for most of your life in that environment, its fine, completely but its those who "pretend" to be are the problem. I wouldn't call them a Wigger but I'd definitely point out that I know they're acting

"Wigger" is the socialized term for a white person who acts "gangsta." If you dress, talk and act like a wannabe "gansta" then you will be dubbed with that term. Get over it, it's not the end of the world. I keep getting people asking me why I worship the devil because I have a wallet chain. I don't believe in God, or any form of deity, and thusly couldn't possibly worship one. Everyone gets labelled a certain way by the way they dress/talk/act. You won't be any different, you are not the only one.

If you're doing stupid things you damn well deserve it. Just because you grew up in a "project apartment" doesn't mean you have to be an idiot; you can be a service to society no matter where you are from. Stop getting yourself arrested, grow up.

BTW, I can't understand most of what you say... Come on, English is supposed to be your first language!
